Description
This plugin introduces a full metal smelting, alloying, and casting system into Minecraft. Players can craft a custom furnace, a tank for molten metals, pipes for transporting liquids, and casting tables and basins for creating ingots, tools, and armor. The custom furnace is built from stone or stone bricks with a glass block in the center, allowing players to see the molten metal inside. It reaches 800°C, has multiple slots for ores, and smelts only tin and copper into liquid form. Iron, gold, and copper cannot be smelted in a vanilla furnace; attempting to do so gives a message such as “Your furnace is too weak to melt this metal.”
Molten metals are collected in a tank made from stone or iron with a glass center. Starter tanks hold 1,000 units, while mid-game upgrades using copper or bronze increase capacity to 2,000–4,000 units. Tanks can store tin, copper, bronze, and later iron and gold. Liquids can be transferred manually or via pipes. Stone pipes handle small flows, while copper or bronze pipes allow higher throughput and can connect to pumps for vertical transport.
The system automatically creates bronze when three parts copper are combined with one part tin. Excess liquid remains in the tank. Casting uses a table or basin, with molds for ingots, tools, or armor. Pouring times vary: ingots ~2s, tools 4–6s, armor 6–8s. One bronze ingot requires 100 units of liquid bronze; tools and armor consume several ingots.
For visuals, existing Minecraft blocks are used: stone bricks or stone for furnaces, glass for viewing molten metal, stone or iron for tanks with glass, slabs for pipes, and cauldrons as casting basins. This plugin allows players to smelt metals, combine alloys, and cast tools and armor, gradually progressing from tin and copper to bronze, then iron and gold, teaching metal handling, alloying, and resource management while remaining fully compatible with Minecraft mechanics.
