AI plugin generator

Minecraft plugin generator: from a plain-English idea to a tested .jar

Describe the plugin your server needs. Our AI writes the Java code, compiles it with Maven, fixes its own build errors and hands you a .jar you can try on a real test server first. Seven server platforms, Minecraft Java 1.16 to 26.3, free to start.

Seven server platforms

Paper, Purpur, Pufferfish, Leaf, Folia, Spigot and Bukkit, on any Minecraft Java version from 1.16 to 26.3.

Compiled and self-corrected

Maven builds the .jar on our servers. When the build fails, the errors go back to the AI, which fixes the code.

Tried on a real server

Launch the plugin on a Minecraft test server straight from the editor, then join it and play.

Daily quota, no credits

What the Minecraft plugin generator does, end to end

A plugin that only exists as code on a screen does nothing for your server. You need a .jar that loads, registers its commands and behaves as described. Spaleforce covers that whole path: no JDK to install, no Maven to set up, no stack trace to decode.

Here is what happens once you start a generation:

That last loop matters most. A first description always forgets a case, and typing "add a cooldown to /kit" to get a new compiled build beats editing Java by hand.

  • You pick the server software and the Minecraft version, then describe the plugin in plain English.
  • Our AI writes the Java project: main class, commands, event listeners, plugin.yml and config.yml.
  • Maven compiles the project into a .jar on our servers, third-party dependencies included.
  • If the build fails, the compiler errors go back to the AI, which fixes the code and compiles again.
  • You download the .jar, or first run it on a real Minecraft test server and join it.
  • Changes are requested in plain English in the online editor and saved in the version history.
  • When the plugin is ready, you can publish it on the Spaleforce marketplace.

Paper, Spigot, Folia and more: supported servers and versions

The generator targets seven server platforms: Paper, Purpur, Pufferfish, Leaf, Folia, Spigot and Bukkit. Paper is the usual pick for a new server, and Purpur, Pufferfish and Leaf are built on it, so they run Paper plugins. Folia ticks regions of the world on separate threads, which needs a different way of scheduling tasks, and selecting it tells the AI to write for that model. Spigot and Bukkit remain for older setups.

On the version side, you can target Minecraft Java 1.16, 1.17, 1.18, 1.19, 1.20, every 1.21 release up to 1.21.11, and the new numbering: 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3. Versions older than 1.16, including 1.8, are not offered.

The version is more than a label. Our AI sticks to the API of that release and does not reach for methods added later, a common reason AI-written plugins crash on real servers. The project is also compiled at the matching Java level, so the .jar starts on the Java runtime that release requires.

Plugins you can create with an AI Minecraft plugin generator

Server owners use the generator for the same plugin families they would otherwise hunt for online, except that the result follows their own rules instead of someone else's defaults.

Each family has its traps: an economy plugin must never create money when two players act at the same moment, and a minigame needs a clean arena every round. Short on ideas? The plugin ideas guide linked at the bottom of this page is a good place to start.

  • Economy: jobs, daily rewards, player shops, auctions and bounties, paid out through Vault.
  • PvP: duels, kits, kill streaks, combat tagging and arenas with their own queues.
  • SMP and survival: homes, land claims, teleport requests, death chests and seasonal events.
  • Minigames: Spleef, Bedwars-style team games, Skyblock islands, timed parkour with checkpoints.
  • Administration: staff mode, player reports, chat filters, maintenance mode and action logs.
  • GUIs: chest menus for warps, shops, settings or kit selection.
  • Integrations: Vault for money and permissions, PlaceholderAPI placeholders, WorldEdit regions, PlotSquared plots.

How to write a prompt the plugin generator gets right

The AI builds what you describe, so the description drives most of the quality. A request like 'an economy plugin' leaves dozens of decisions to chance. A few specific lines settle them.

Start with the core feature, check it on the test server, then group related additions into a single edit request.

  • Name each command with its arguments, for example /bounty set <player> <amount>, and say who may use it.
  • Give the permission nodes, such as bounty.set and bounty.admin, and mark the staff-only ones.
  • List what belongs in config.yml: prices, cooldowns, messages, world names.
  • State the dependencies: 'use Vault for money', 'expose the value through PlaceholderAPI'.
  • Cover the edge cases: the target logs out, the player cannot pay, the server restarts mid-game.
  • Say where data should live if it must survive a restart, such as one YAML file per player.

After the first build: edit, test and version your plugin

The online editor shows every project file: the Java classes, plugin.yml and config.yml. You never have to touch them. Type what should change, for instance 'make the cooldown configurable and add a bypass permission', and the AI edits the right files and compiles a new .jar.

Each change lands in the version history, so an edit that goes the wrong way is not a dead end: restore an earlier version and ask again more clearly.

From the same screen, start a real Minecraft test server on the version of your choice, plugin installed, and join it from your own client to catch surprises before your players do.

To share your work, publish the plugin on the Spaleforce marketplace, which already lists more than 3,100 public plugins and 3D models. Or simply drop the .jar into your server's plugins folder.

Free Minecraft plugin generator, plus what Pro and Ultimate add

Sign in with a Google account and start without a credit card. The free plan runs the same generator as the paid plans: every platform and version, automatic fixes, the editor and the test server. It includes 5 AI operations per day, shared between new generations and edits, with a 2-hour wait between two generations. Free accounts also draw from a daily community pool; when it runs out, generation resumes at midnight UTC.

Pro, at €20 per month, raises the allowance to 20 generations and edits per day and removes the 2-hour wait. Ultimate, at €50 per month, gives 50 generations plus 20 edits per day and includes everything in Pro. Counters reset at midnight UTC.

Both plans are monthly subscriptions paid through Stripe, with no commitment. There are no credits or tokens to buy: your allowance is a daily quota that comes back every day, not a balance that runs out.

Who owns the plugin, and can you sell it?

Plugins generated on the free plan are for your own use: the embedded 'Powered by Spaleforce' credit must stay in place, and reselling them as they are is not allowed.

On Pro and Ultimate, plugins are compiled with no Spaleforce mention at all, and commercial use is allowed without royalties. You can sell the plugin, deliver it to a client or include it in a paid server setup.

How to choose a Minecraft plugin generator

Several AI tools now promise Minecraft plugins from a prompt, and their demos look alike. Judge them on what reaches your server by asking these questions of any generator, ours included:

Our comparison page, linked below, applies these criteria to the main AI plugin generators, with dated figures taken from their public pages. Read it before committing to any subscription.

  • Does it list the exact versions it supports, and does its code stay within the API of the one you pick?
  • Does it cover your server software, including forks like Purpur and the region-threaded Folia?
  • Do you get a compiled .jar, and what happens when compilation fails?
  • Can you try the plugin on a real server first, and edit it later in plain language?
  • Is the price a daily allowance, or credits spent on every attempt?
  • Can you remove the branding and use the plugin commercially, and on which plan?

How it works

  1. 1

    Choose the server and version

Pick Paper, Purpur, Pufferfish, Leaf, Folia, Spigot or Bukkit, then a Minecraft Java version from 1.16 to 26.3.

  2. 2

    Describe the plugin

List the commands, permissions, config values, messages and any plugin it depends on, such as Vault or PlaceholderAPI.

  3. 3

    Let the AI build it

The code is written and compiled with Maven. Build errors go back to the AI and are fixed automatically.

  4. 4

    Test, refine, download

Try the plugin on a test server, request changes in plain English, then drop the .jar into your plugins folder.

Minecraft plugin prompts to paste into the generator

Jobs economy with Vault
A jobs plugin for Paper 1.21.11. Players pick a job with /jobs join <miner|farmer|hunter> and earn Vault money for mining ores, harvesting crops or killing mobs, with payouts in config.yml. Add /jobs stats and a %jobs_level% PlaceholderAPI placeholder.
Duels with shared kits
A duels plugin for Paper. /duel <player> sends a request that expires after 60 seconds. /duel accept teleports both players to a free arena from config.yml with the same kit. The winner gets a Vault reward, and inventories are restored afterwards.
Homes for an SMP
A homes plugin for Purpur 26.2 with /sethome <name>, /home <name>, /delhome <name> and /homes. The home limit comes from the permissions homes.limit.1 to homes.limit.10. Teleport after a 3-second warmup, cancelled on movement or damage. One YAML file per player.
Spleef minigame
A Spleef minigame for Paper 1.21.11. Admins create an arena with /spleef create <name> and two corner positions for the snow floor. Players join with /spleef join <arena>. The game starts at 2 players after a 10-second countdown, and the last one standing wins. Rebuild the floor after each round.
Staff reports
A reports plugin for Spigot 1.20. /report <player> <reason> alerts staff with reports.notify via a clickable message that teleports them to the player. /reports opens a chest GUI of open reports, and clicking one closes it. One report per player every 2 minutes.
Warp menu GUI
A warps plugin for Paper 26.3. /warps opens a 27-slot chest menu with one configurable item per warp, and clicking it teleports the player. Admins use /setwarp <name> <material> and /delwarp <name>. Each warp can require its own permission, and locked warps show as barrier blocks.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Minecraft plugin generator free?

Yes. Sign in with Google, no credit card needed. The free plan includes 5 AI generations or edits per day, with a 2-hour wait between two generations. Pro (€20/month) and Ultimate (€50/month) raise the daily limits, and there are no credits to buy.

Which Minecraft versions and server types are supported?

Paper, Purpur, Pufferfish, Leaf, Folia, Spigot and Bukkit, on Minecraft Java 1.16 through 1.21.11, plus 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3. Versions before 1.16, such as 1.8, are not available.

Do I need to know Java to make a plugin?

No. You describe the plugin in plain English, and the AI writes and compiles the Java code. Knowing how server commands and permissions work helps, but no programming is needed.

What do I download?

A compiled .jar file, ready to drop into the plugins folder of your server. The project files, including plugin.yml and config.yml, are visible in the online editor, where you ask the AI for changes.

What if the generated plugin does not compile?

The compiler errors go back to the AI automatically, and it fixes the code and compiles again, with nothing for you to copy. If the plugin compiles but does not behave as expected, describe the problem in the editor and the AI updates it.

Can I test the plugin before installing it on my server?

Yes. From the editor, launch the plugin on a real Minecraft test server in the version you choose, then connect with your own client. It is the safest way to check commands and events before going live.

Can I sell plugins made with the generator?

On Pro and Ultimate, yes: the plugins carry no Spaleforce mention and commercial use is allowed without royalties. On the free plan, the embedded 'Powered by Spaleforce' credit must stay in the plugin.

Does it work with Vault, PlaceholderAPI and WorldEdit?

Yes. Name the plugin you want to hook into and the AI uses its API. Common dependencies such as Vault, PlaceholderAPI, WorldEdit and PlotSquared are resolved automatically at compile time. Those plugins still need to be installed on your server.
