This plugin makes a new gamemode that’s like survival. It’s called hybrid mode. It sets you in survival automatically and gives you extra features (listed below)
- Able to fly (toggled with jump key double click like usual)
- Able to go in the creative menu (with saved hotbar too)
- Ability to toggle creative and survival inventory
- You can use the pick block
- Instantly break blocks
- Blocks don’t drop items
- Durability does’t go down
- Items don’t disappear when used or placed
- No fall damage
- Mobs don’t see/interact with you
- When hybrid players die they stay in hybrid mode
For the creative inventory toggle you could add like a button that you can click in the inventory. It could use a resource pack to show it or something. Maybe you can add a new inventory slot that has a permanent chest and when clicked it toggles the creative inventory (DON’T DO IT UNLESS IT IS A CUSTOM SLOT NOT IN THE INVENTORY). Also don’t just switch to creative. If not possible, just add the normal creative inventory alone.
To activate hybrid mode you do “/hybridmode <playername>” or “/hybridmode” (just changes yourself into hybrid) and if you change your gamemode to something else it is disabled.
There is just one permission, it is to use the hybrid mode command. All of the options above are toggle able in the config. There is an extra config option where all players in creative will automatically go into hybrid mode except specific players.
