Description
Create a simple and clean /sell command plugin for a Paper 1.21 Minecraft SMP server, similar to the selling feature on Doctor Donut SMP.
Core Feature:
- Players use /sell while holding an item to instantly sell it for money.
- The plugin should support selling the item in hand or a specific amount.
Commands:
- /sell → sells the item currently held in the player's main hand (all of it)
- /sell <amount> → sells only the specified amount of the item in hand (e.g. /sell 64)
- /sell all → sells ALL sellable items in the player's inventory at once
Features:
- Uses Vault for economy (supports any economy plugin like EssentialsX, CMI, etc.)
- Configurable selling prices per item in config.yml (item ID or name → price per unit)
- Support for selling stacks or partial amounts
- Nice chat messages with the amount sold and total money received
- Sound effect and particles when selling successfully
- Blacklist system: certain items cannot be sold (e.g. spawn eggs, named items, enchanted books with high levels, etc.)
- Permission:
- easysell.use → allows players to use /sell
- easysell.all → allows /sell all
- easysell.admin → reload command and edit prices
Admin Commands:
- /sell reload → reloads config
- /sell price <item> <price> → sets the sell price for an item (admin only)
Make the plugin lightweight, user-friendly, and beginner-friendly.
Include a default config with reasonable sell prices for common resources (dirt, cobble, wood, ores, crops, etc.).
