Description
Create a Minecraft plugin that connects to the Spotify Web API using OAuth2. The server owner links their Spotify account through a config file with their client ID and client secret. Playback is controlled through the linked Spotify account.
WHAT IT DOES:
- Players can search for any public Spotify song, album, or playlist using /spotify search <query>
- Players can play public content using /spotify play <query>
- Players can add songs to a server-wide queue using /spotify queue add <song>
- Players can vote to skip the current song using /spotify skip
- Players can see what is playing using /spotify nowplaying
- When a song changes, a message is broadcast to all players showing the track and artist
PRIVATE PLAYLISTS:
- The config.yml has a field called privileged-user with a Minecraft username
- ONLY that username can see and play the private playlists on the linked Spotify account
- All other players are blocked from private playlists entirely, even if they guess the name
